Short answer
Gemini Omni Pro is not out, and Google hasn't announced it. As of November 7, 2026, Google's Gemini API docs list only the Omni Flash models (gemini-omni-1.2-flash, gemini-omni-1.1-flash), with no Omni Pro. Everything about Omni Pro so far comes from leaks.
- Leak, not officially confirmed: on November 5, X user @chetaslua posted that he had seen Gemini Omni Pro internally, writing "4k supported" and "15 second", with a video attached (post). The same day Kol Tregaskes (@koltregaskes) shared the leak: "Gemini Omni Pro spotted. Supports 4k." (post). Google hasn't commented.
- What Google actually released that day was Omni 1.2 Flash: on November 5, Google released Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash, with clips up to 15 seconds and output up to 4K, available to developers through the Gemini API (Google AI post, Gemini API model page).
- What you can use now: the current Omni model is Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash (
gemini-omni-1.2-flash). See Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash API for how to call it.
New accounts start with a $0 balance — top up before your first request. Top up from $5. If a request returns 402 (400 on the OpenAI format) with "wallet balance is insufficient", your balance is empty — your base URL and key are fine. Top up and retry.

What the leak says
This is a leak, not officially confirmed.
- @chetaslua's post (November 5): headlined "Gemini Omni Pro Spotted internally", it mentions "4k supported , 15 second" and says Omni Flash 1.2 could launch any day. It includes a video and a prompt, but doesn't say where or how he saw the model. Google released Omni 1.2 Flash a few hours later.
- @koltregaskes's repost (November 5): quotes the post above with "Gemini Omni Pro spotted. Supports 4k." and notes that Omni 1.2 Flash had just been released. It relays the same leak; it isn't a second independent source.
We found no sign of Omni Pro in Google's code, consoles or AI Studio, or from TestingCatalog. The name "Omni Pro" doesn't appear in Google's I/O announcements, the Gemini API model page or the changelog either.
Omni Pro vs Omni 1.2 Flash
Only one difference is certain: Omni 1.2 Flash is out; Omni Pro isn't. Google hasn't published Omni Pro's capabilities or price, and we won't repeat what's circulating online.
| Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash | Gemini Omni Pro | |
|---|---|---|
| Status | Released November 5, 2026 | Leak only, not officially confirmed |
| Model ID | gemini-omni-1.2-flash |
Not announced |
| Clip length | 3–15 s; 3–10 s for interpolation and per-turn extension, up to 30 s total | The leak mentions 15 s |
| Resolution | 360p, 720p, 1080p, 4K at 24 fps | The leak mentions 4K |
| Price | $12 per 1M video output tokens, about $0.07 per second at 720p | Not announced |
Omni 1.2 Flash figures come from Google's Gemini API model page, changelog and the Google AI post.
Note that Omni 1.2 Flash already officially supports the "4K, 15 seconds" in the leak, so those two points alone don't show what Pro adds. Google's changelog for Omni 1.1 Flash says its 1080p and 4K output is upscaled; the leak doesn't say whether Omni Pro's 4K is native.
What isn't known yet
Whether Omni Pro will ship, when, its final name and model ID, its price, how it improves on Flash, and whether it will come to the Gemini API. We won't guess.
